About the City I love most

Yes, I am referring to Indore. Though not born here, but all the important incidents of my life happened in this city viz. schooling, college education, job, marriage, children and settlement after retirement. From the very beginning of my childhood, say from the year 1960, I developed a kind of love for this lively city. This has been a wonderful city in all respects be it education, be it medical aid, be it culture, be it business, be it the way of celebrating festivals, be it delicious dishes and be it the value of social relations. I used to say amongst friends and relatives that if there is reincarnation, I would like to reborn in Indore.
As I grew, the city also grew all round. Of late my city has been numero uno in cleanliness and scored hat tric in Swachhta ranking.
Suddenly, it has turned from cleanest city to coronavirus hot spot. This time, it is in the lime light for wrong reason. As of now tally in Indore is 311 cases and 30 deaths. Comparing it with proportion to population of other Cities of India the figure is frightening. May God protect Indore from bad omen.
I am confident that with the passion and fighting spirit of Indoris', we will defeat the Corona soon and bring back the glory of city which it deserves.
Indore is really the city full of life and which is why it is called mini mumbai. Infact in many ways it is far better than mumbai

ReplyDeleteConcern about the city is real but the sad part it is few people doing it on purpose. Handle them.
